Welcome to the 2026 season.
Like every other year, it’s been a big off season….
Football recruiting is well underway, with Lewy, Pud and the recruiting team picking up some handy inclusions for the 2026 season.
On the netball front we have a new Open coach in club stalwart, Aimee Moloney. Aimee returns not only as a coach but will be a very handy inclusion on the court as well.
All football and netball coaches have been appointed for the year and with the talent leading our teams this year, hopefully we are in for a successful season.
Fundraising last year was a great success again, with huge support from players, members and sponsors. This year our Sponsors Roulette will be taking place earlier in the year, with the draw taking place after our home game against Portland on April 18th. See any committee or player for a ticket.
The social committee are hard at work finalising the social calendar for the year, with some great events planned! We are very fortunate to be supported by many businesses, both small and large, which are the backbone to ensuring our club is successful off the field and court. We thank them for their continued support, especially over the past few years, in what has been difficult for many businesses.
The season kicks off on April 11, when we take on Camperdown at Camperdown in a Super Saturday event. Hopefully we can get some redemption against the pies after what happened last year…..
Finally, we welcome all new players, families and supporters to our club for 2026 and we wish the coaches, players and members all the best for the season ahead.
